PROBLEM: Empower does not run once the machine name has been altered. This is because the Empower installation hard codes the machine name into oracle config files.

RESOLUTION: A tool is required to update key Oracle files located in Oracle version specific file locations, with the new machine name.

TOOL: This tool was developed by the informatics team: Jim Busker

TOOL USE: Primarily used for Virtual Machine Templates - This should be configured into the OS run once registry key, where it will run after your VM starts up for the first time.

TOOL VERSIONS: This is not a released version, but a prototype. please update as new versions are available.
